New life, New blog

Filed under: Uncategorized — Karina Brandt @ 23:39

So,

it seems my life at the moment is taking a turn for the better, which is a huge relief.

After having suffered the aftermaths of a severe pre-eclampsia the past 2½ years, I’m finally coming “back to life”, not feeling sick all the time, constant headaches gone, not constantly tired, and best of all, blood preassure is back in control.

I am NOT having any more kids, I think I’d be popping my clogs if I were to give birth once more.

So I’m loving the two girls I have “Princess & Angel” AKA Katrine and Laura.

So with the new life, new energy, new happiness, its also time for a new blog, this time integrated with my website.

  1. Glad to hear that you’re feeling better, Karina. I have two problem pregnancies myself – I was bedridden both times for the last month before they were born. My son is now 20 and my daughter is 17 and I cherish every moment I get to spend with them because they have their own lives now. Enjoy your children – they grow up WAY too fast.

  2. Thankyou, Donna.

With my first, Katrine, I was nailed to the bed all month 7 because she threatened to enter the world too early and i had beginning of pre-eclampsia with her, then with Laura it went better, but I had symptoms of pre-eclampsia for several weeks before a doctor finally took it seriously. with the result that Laura hardly grew the last three weeks she was in there, she was so affected by my illness. she was only 2 pounds when she was born 6 weeks premature. she ought to have been a lot bigger even then. but that’s what happens if pre-eclampsia is ignored, the baby stops growing.

glad your kids are well and grown up too.

    hugs
